Contact Improvisation


In class of Contact Improvisation we've practiced and explored about give weight of own body in relation with other bodies through contact. The beginning of semester teacher made us work more individually. Firstly we did exercises to feel the weight own  in the floor to can more later, to differentiate how weight i must give with other partner. The  central idea of contact improvisation is to continue flow through of movement that it's produced for contact between two persons or more maybe.
Also we've made exercise in couple where one persons is a support in a whatever position that is changing and another person to use that surface for experiment the different form of contact. To make  this possible is important to be in the present and not thinking in the future.


Same of the main contents that i has studied are:

*address space

*modulation of muscle tone
*control and conciseness of floor pelvic in relation with other body


I like contact improvisation because i can be mental alertness where the corporal reactions are fastest that thinking. in fact should not think while you are in touch but that you should feel or hear corporeality proposals for other person. This form of dance relaxes me and connects me with other of a more intimate way
